🌎☀️ Learning about the Sun and Earth in Astronomy class!
Today in Mrs. Wiesen’s Astronomy class, students explored how the angle of sunlight affects the amount of heat absorbed by Earth. Through a hands-on lab, they compared sunlight at 30° and 90° angles and discovered how the angle impacts temperature.
They also learned about the differences in temperature between the equator and the North and South Poles—and why some parts of Earth receive more direct sunlight than others! 🔭🌡️
What a great day of hands-on learning! 🌎✨
Picture retakes are October 21st in the Library.
